Lost revenue
For web shops and companies that generate leads online, a website that is down is money that simply does not come in. Every visitor who sees an error page instead of your site is a potential customer walking away.
Your website goes down. Maybe for five minutes. Maybe two hours. Maybe longer. Customers trying to reach your site hit an error page and go somewhere else. You have no idea, because nobody called you.
This is how most companies find out about downtime: a customer mentions it. Or an employee happens to open the site. Or, in the worst case, nobody notices at all until the damage is done.
We monitor your website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The moment it becomes unreachable, you get an alert. Not after a customer calls, but while the outage is still happening. So you can act straight away.
Website down
A website that goes down has immediate consequences, and they grow with every minute the outage continues.
For web shops and companies that generate leads online, a website that is down is money that simply does not come in. Every visitor who sees an error page instead of your site is a potential customer walking away.
A customer who visits your website and hits an error page draws conclusions: about how reliable your company is, about how professional your service is. That impression is hard to correct.
Google crawls websites regularly. If your site is repeatedly down during a crawl, that affects your position in the search results. Availability is a ranking factor.
Visitors who want to fill in a contact form, download a brochure or book an appointment cannot do any of it while the site is down. That lead is gone.
A website going down can be a symptom of an attack: a DDoS attack overwhelming the server, or malware that has taken the site offline. Spotting it early is what keeps the damage small.
Good uptime
The industry treats 99.9% uptime as the standard. That sounds high, but 99.9% works out at just under nine hours of downtime per year. Per month that is roughly 44 minutes. For a web shop, or any company that depends on its website for leads, 44 minutes a month is a lot.

We map your current uptime and show you how your website performs against the industry standard. If your uptime falls short structurally, we look for the cause together.
Stronger together
Uptime monitoring and website security reinforce each other. A protected website is less likely to go down because of an attack. But monitoring warns you when an attack does get through, so you can act immediately.
A DDoS attack, where your website is flooded with traffic until it collapses, shows up instantly in uptime monitoring. So does a hacked website taken offline by the host. Monitoring is the earliest signal that something is wrong.
Our approach
01
Our systems check your website continuously, every minute of every day. The moment it stops responding, that is flagged. No delay, no waiting, immediate detection.
02
You get an alert by email, and optionally by text message, the moment your website goes down. Including when the outage started and a first diagnosis of what is wrong. So you can act, or ask us to act for you.
03
As soon as your website is online again, you get a recovery alert, including exactly how long the outage lasted. So you know what happened and can look into the cause.
04
Besides availability we monitor how fast your website loads. A slow website is almost as damaging as one that is down: visitors leave when loading takes more than three seconds. We warn you when your site gets significantly slower than usual.
05
We check your website from several geographic locations at once. That tells us whether an outage is worldwide or limited to certain regions, which is useful for diagnosis and recovery.
06
Every month you receive a clear report: your uptime percentage, any outages with the time and duration, and the average loading speed. Full insight without having to go looking for it.
What's at stake?
No technical jargon, just situations every business owner recognises.
Without uptime monitoring
It is Thursday morning. You are on your way to a client meeting while your website has been unreachable for four hours. Nobody noticed. Customers trying to fill in your contact form see an error page and go to your competitor. At half past one in the afternoon a customer finally calls to ask whether you 'still exist', and that is how you find out. By then you have lost half a working day of enquiries and orders.
The damage
What would have prevented this?
With uptime monitoring you get an alert within minutes when your website, server or web shop becomes unreachable. You can act straight away, even when you are nowhere near your computer.
FAQ
Our systems check your website every minute. As soon as an outage is detected the alert goes out immediately. In practice you have it within one to two minutes of the outage starting.
The alert is always sent, three in the morning included. You decide how you receive alerts and whether you want to be woken up. For critical websites we recommend text messages, so the alert does not get lost among emails.
By default we monitor the homepage plus one or more critical subpages, such as the contact page, the checkout or the login portal. Together we decide which pages matter most for your business.
That is covered by response time monitoring. If your site structurally exceeds a set threshold, for example more than three seconds of loading time, you get a warning. That way you catch performance problems before they turn into real downtime.
Yes, and that is the combination we recommend. Monitoring detects outages immediately. Security prevents the attacks that cause them. Together they cover your entire online presence.
24/7 monitoring
Probably. But do you know for certain? And do you know at two in the morning, on a Sunday, or while you are in a meeting?
We always know. And we tell you straight away.
